IT Minister felicitates winners of Cyber Security Grand Challenge (GS: 3 Technology)

•    About: A first of its kind Cyber Security Challenge to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. 
•    Prize: Winner of grand Challenge were awarded with a trophy each and cash prize money of Rs.
o    1 Crore: SecurelyShare Software Pvt. Ltd for problem statement addressed “Development of Automated system to enable Privacy Preserving Analytics/Forensics”.
o    60 Lakhs: Payatu Security Consulting Pvt. Ltd. for Problem Statement Addressed “Assurance of Security of Hardware Devices, Products and Components”.
o    40 Lakhs: Monoxor for Problem Statement Addressed “Securing Microservices and Services Mesh Architecture”.
•    Launched By: The Cyber Security Grand Challenge was launched jointly by Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) and Data Security Council of India (DSCI).
•    Focus of Challenge: The challenge focused on strengthening the cyber security capabilities of the country and development of solution to benefit the people and society. 
•    Feature: A unique feature of this challenge is that IPR of the product being developed as part of the challenge will be owned by the respective start-up.
